LET'S HELP LOCATE ASHER. You know how much we love our pets. We can't picture our lives without them. We are trying to help someone who has lost their beloved dog, Asher. There was a possible sighting this weekend near I-295 and Staples Mill, but before that he had been tracked to Rockville. He could be anywhere, but the sightings are encouraging, and Tamara knows he is still in the area and she will continue to search for him until she can bring him home.
From his owner Tamara Broughton: As many of you know, our brindle Whippet is missing. Picture a small Greyhound with tiger stripes, around forty pounds, mostly chest and legs. We haven't seen him since February 26th, and we desperately want to bring him home.

A dog that has been missing this long is in survival mode. He will no longer come to people, including us, and will need to be lured and trapped. If you see him, do not chase him; do not even call him as you would a normal dog that is loose. If you see him, take a photo and text it to me at (804) 516-3070, and note the location of the sighting.
WHAT CAN YOU DO? You can share this post from our Facebook Page to your Facebook page and through Messenger and ask your friends to do the same.
You can also download, print out, and share the poster below in workplaces, grocery stores, places like Panera that allow posters on their message boards, etc. If you know people specifically in the Rockville/Goochland/Far West End area, where Asher has possibly been spotted, please message them and encourage them to post on their Facebook and Nextdoor pages.
Please pray, send good vibes, loving thoughts, and virtual hugs to this family whose heart is broken and just really wants to find their dog. Let's do all we can to help. Thank you so much.
